A private network for every branch across Lebanon and abroad
Your WAN service quote
SME's corporate sales calls you within two business days to scope the sites and the inter-branching. All fields are required.
The SME WAN service is a service of its own, separate from internet: a private network that connects a company's branches, outlets and offices to each other — nationally across Lebanon, or internationally to the sites abroad — so the whole organisation works as one network and the traffic between the sites never crosses the public internet. Where a site also needs internet, SME Corporate Fiber — dedicated internet through SME CO-FIBER — is added beside it; the WAN stands on its own either way.

What the private network carries between the branches
Everything that today travels by e-mail, by USB stick or by "call the other branch" runs on the private network instead — the same systems in every site, as if they were on the same floor, and none of it on the public internet.
One ERP, PMS or POS back office
The head office's servers reachable from every branch over the private network: one accounting, one inventory, one reservation system, one set of reports.
Shared files and backups
The branches' files, cameras and backups flow to the head office over the private network, never over the public internet.
VoIP between branches
Internal extensions across sites: the Beirut office dials the Tripoli outlet as an extension, and the call stays on the private network.
Central CCTV and monitoring
The head office watches every branch's cameras, tills and systems over the private network, from one screen.
Sites abroad on the same network
A branch, a warehouse or a partner office in Dubai, Paris or Lagos is joined to the company's network internationally and reaches the head office like any Lebanese branch.
Private by design
The sites talk to each other inside the company's own network; the public internet carries only what the company chooses to publish, through its separate internet service.
What the company gets with the SME WAN service
A service in its own right — not an internet plan. SME designs, builds and supports the private network between the company's sites; internet for a site is SME Corporate Fiber, dedicated internet through SME CO-FIBER, added where it is needed.
One private network, every site
- A private network between the company's branches, outlets and offices — the sites see each other as one network, and the traffic between them never crosses the public internet.
- National inter-branching: the sites across Lebanon — Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the North, the South, the Bekaa, Nabatieh — joined on one national private network.
- International inter-branching: the branches, warehouses and partner offices abroad joined to the same private network, so the organisation works as one wherever its sites are.
- Separate from internet, combined when needed: SME Corporate Fiber — dedicated internet through SME CO-FIBER — is added at the sites that need internet; a site can be on the WAN alone, on Corporate Fiber alone, or on both.
- An uptime SLA and the 24/7 corporate support line for every site of the network, with an optional backup link where a site cannot afford a single point of failure.
- Scoped per site by SME engineers, with the company's IT: the number of sites, the systems they share and the traffic between them decide the design — start with the sites that are ready, add the others as they open.
In the service
From one site to a national and international private network
Four building blocks, added in the order the company needs them.
The site
Each branch, outlet or office — in a city centre, a mall, an industrial zone — is connected to SME and becomes a site of the company's private network.
National inter-branching
The Lebanese sites are joined into one private network: the head office and the branches in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the North, the South, the Bekaa and Nabatieh share their systems as one network.
International inter-branching
A branch, a warehouse or a partner office abroad is joined to the company's network internationally, scoped by SME with the company's IT, and reaches the head office like any Lebanese site.
The central systems
The ERP, the PMS or POS back office, the file server, the phone system and the CCTV sit where the company wants them — at the head office, or in the cloud — and every site reaches them inside the private network.
From the request to the first branch on the network
One form, one call from SME's corporate sales within two business days, one design for all the sites, and the sites are connected one by one.
- 1
Tell us about the sites
The company's name, your name, mobile and e-mail, the number of branches, outlets or offices and the town of the main site. One minute, no commitment.
- 2
Design and scoping, site by site
SME's corporate sales calls within two business days; SME engineers survey each site, design the private network — the national links, the international links, the central systems — with the company's IT, and quote it. SME Corporate Fiber is added for the sites that also need internet.
- 3
Build and connect
SME connects each site to the private network and brings the branches onto it one by one, in Lebanon and abroad; the 24/7 corporate support line covers every site from the first day.
Questions multi-site companies ask
What is the SME WAN service?
An inter-branching service: a private network that connects a company's branches, outlets and offices to each other — nationally across Lebanon, or internationally to the sites abroad — so the organisation works as one network and the traffic between the sites never crosses the public internet. SME engineers design it site by site; the corporate SLA and the 24/7 support line cover every site.
Is the WAN service the same as SME Corporate Fiber?
No — they are two separate services. SME Corporate Fiber is a dedicated internet service through SME CO-FIBER: a 100 Mbps dedicated, symmetric circuit with static public IPs that gives a site its internet. The WAN service is the private network between the company's sites. A site can be on the WAN alone, on Corporate Fiber alone, or on both — most multi-site companies take the WAN for the branches and Corporate Fiber where a site also needs internet.
What is the difference between national and international inter-branching?
National inter-branching joins the company's sites in Lebanon — from Beirut to the Bekaa — on one private network. International inter-branching joins the sites abroad — a branch, a warehouse, a partner office — to that same network, so a site in Dubai or Paris reaches the head office like any Lebanese branch.
Which systems can the branches share?
Anything the company runs centrally: the ERP, the hotel PMS or the restaurant POS back office, the file server and the backups, the phone system (internal extensions between branches), the CCTV and the monitoring. The central systems sit at the head office or in the cloud, and every site reaches them inside the private network.
Does a branch need internet to be on the WAN?
No. The WAN is the branch's own connection to the company's private network, independent of internet. A branch that also needs internet — for its guests, its delivery platforms or its cloud applications — adds SME Corporate Fiber, dedicated internet through SME CO-FIBER, as a separate service at that site.
Can we start with two branches and add the rest later?
Yes. The network is scoped per site: start with the head office and the branches that are ready, and add a branch — in Lebanon or abroad — when it opens. Each new site is one more connection into the private network.
How long does it take, and what does the company need to provide?
SME's corporate sales calls within two business days of the request; SME engineers survey the sites and design the network with the company's IT, then connect the sites one by one. To subscribe, the company provides its commercial registration, its Ministry of Finance / VAT registration and the authorised signatory's ID or passport.
