Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of SME SARL's website and internet/IPTV services. By accessing the website or subscribing to a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide residential and corporate internet connectivity (Fiber and DSL) and IPTV entertainment across Lebanon. Specific plan speeds, quotas, pricing, and add-ons are listed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in Lebanon. Corporate subscriptions must be entered into by an authorized representative of the organization.
3. Billing and Payment
- Billing cycles run from the 1st to the last day of each calendar month.
- First-month charges for new subscribers are prorated based on the number of remaining days in the cycle.
- If you enable auto-charge, payment is attempted on the 1st of each month. Failed charges are retried on days 3, 6, and 10 of the cycle.
- Accounts with unpaid balances beyond day 15 may be suspended. Balances unpaid beyond day 30 may be escalated to collections.
- All prices are listed in Lebanese Pounds (LBP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the services to:
- Violate any applicable law, including Lebanese telecom regulations.
- Send spam, distribute malware, or launch denial-of-service attacks.
- Resell the service to third parties without our written consent.
- Use the service for any activity that infringes on third-party rights.
Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
5. Service Quality
Residential plans list "up to" speeds. Actual throughput depends on distance to the access point, device capability, wiring quality, and aggregate network load. Corporate dedicated plans carry an uptime SLA as stated in your service contract; residential plans do not carry an explicit SLA but we aim for 99% monthly availability.
6. Equipment
We may provide a modem, router, or ONT as part of your subscription. This equipment remains the property of SME SARL unless explicitly sold to you. You must return it in working condition if your service ends.
7. Changes to Service
We may modify plan specifications, pricing, or terms with at least 30 days' notice delivered to the email or phone number on file. If you do not accept the change, you may cancel without penalty before it takes effect.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice, or immediately if the other party materially breaches these Terms. Prepaid amounts for periods after termination are refundable on a prorated basis.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.
