How to Apply for SME FIBER & SME DSL

The SME application is one online form, in English and Arabic, that takes about five minutes on a phone. It starts as an SME FIBER application and checks fiber availability at your building; where fiber has not arrived yet, the same form continues as SME DSL. This guide has one section per path — what you apply for, what you need, a video of every screen, the steps, and the mistakes to avoid — so you can follow the one that is yours.

Not sure whether fiber has reached your address? Check the coverage map, or type your landline into the wizard and let the building check decide.

How the form decides

Apply for SME FIBER; DSL steps in where fiber is not there yet

One form, one order: it opens as an SME FIBER application, checks your building, and continues as SME DSL only if fiber has not arrived there yet. Which path you end up on is decided by the building check — everything after it is the same six steps, 2 to 7.

Looking for fast, reliable internet from SME?

Start by applying for SME FIBER.

Enter your landline number, or a photo of your building's fiber box, and we'll check whether fiber is available where you are.

If fiber is available, you can carry on with your fiber application right away.

And if fiber isn't available in your building yet, don't worry.

You can continue with a DSL application instead.

Just complete your details, submit your application online, and our team will take it from there.

Apply with SME today: fiber where it is available, and DSL where it is not there yet.

You have a landline number

Type it. Where the line can be checked automatically the wizard shows the verdict on screen: fiber available means you carry on with the fiber application; not there yet means you continue with DSL, or leave your details so the team follows up on fiber; neither on that line right now means you can apply with a new landline (the fiber-box question follows) or request future fiber availability. A line already subscribed with another provider is handled as a transfer.

You have no landline, or the line cannot be checked automatically

The wizard asks whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box (FDB), the grey metal cabinet fiber is delivered through. A photo of it continues the application as SME FIBER — the fiber guide. No box in the building? Choose "No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building" and it continues as SME DSL — the DSL guide.

Then steps 2 to 7, the same on both paths

Documents · your information · service type · package · add-ons · review and submit — written out once, with a confirmation page and your Application ID at the end. Residential plans: SME FIBER up to 300 Mbps, SME DSL up to 50 Mbps.

Path A · SME FIBER

Apply for SME FIBER

For a building that has a Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) — residential plans up to 300 Mbps. The form starts here for everyone: your landline is checked automatically where possible; otherwise the wizard asks you to photograph the box, and our team verifies the box from your photo. Below: what to have ready, the video of every screen, step 1 — the only step that is particular to this path — and how to take a photo of the box that can be read. Steps 2 to 7 follow once, for everyone.

What you need

  • Your National ID Card (front and back) or your Passport
  • If you have no landline yet: one property document — House Deed, Rent Contract (signed by municipality) or Proof of Residence
  • A readable photo of the building's Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) when your line cannot be checked automatically — find the grey cabinet before you start
  • Your mobile number and the installation address (city, street, building, floor, property and section numbers)

Have everything on the table before you open the form. The wizard saves nothing until you submit; on the documents and service-type steps it names the document still outstanding, just above the Next button.

Welcome to SME.

This short guide shows you how to apply for SME FIBER online: from finding the fiber box in your building to submitting your documents.

The application takes about five minutes on your phone.

Open sme-lb.com/apply. The form is in English and Arabic and works on any phone or computer.

First question: do you have a landline number?

If you do, type the 7- or 8-digit number. If you do not, choose No, I need a new one: a new landline is registered in your name as part of the application.

Next, the wizard asks whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box, an FDB.

It is a grey metal cabinet, usually near the landline box, inside the electricity room, or on an outside wall.

Find it before you continue. If your line can be checked automatically, the wizard skips this question and tells you directly whether fiber is available.

On your phone, choose Take a clear picture of the Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) using your mobile camera. Your camera opens with a framing guide.

Stand close, keep the phone steady, and make sure the label with the box number is readable.

Avoid glare, shadows and blur: our team reads the box number from your photo, and a blurred label cannot be verified.

When the wizard shows Photo received, your application proceeds for SME FIBER automatically.

If there is no box in your building, choose No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building and your application continues for SME DSL. Our DSL guide covers that path.

Step two is your documents.

First choose your identity document: a national ID card, or a passport.

Take a photo with your camera, or upload a JPG or PNG; a PDF is accepted for a passport and the other documents, up to 20 megabytes each.

For a national ID, capture the front, then the back.

Tap Capture document, place the whole card inside the frame with all four corners visible, and tap Use this page.

For a passport, capture the page with your photo, fully inside the frame and without reflections.

If you do not already have a landline, you also need one property document.

That is your house deed, or a rent contract signed by the municipality, or a proof of residence.

If you rent, upload the contract signed by the municipality: that is the document the form asks for.

A document with several pages? Capture each page on its own.

After confirming a page, tap Add another page. The order on screen is the order in your PDF.

The identity document should belong to the person named on the property document.

Step three is your information.

Type each field exactly as it is printed on your documents: your first, middle and last name, mobile number, address, governorate, district, and your ID or passport number.

Our team checks every field against your scans, so spelling and numbers must match.

Step four: choose Residential or Corporate.

A corporate applicant also uploads the commercial registration, the commercial circuit, the MOF or VAT registration, and the authorised signatory's ID or passport.

Step five: pick your SME FIBER package.

Step six is optional add-ons, such as a static public IP.

The monthly total with VAT and the one-time installation fee are shown on screen before you continue.

Step seven: review your application. Every section has a Change link.

Tick I confirm that all my info is correct, tap Submit my application, then confirm.

You will see a confirmation page with your application ID. Our team reviews the application and contacts you.

Ready? Go to sme-lb.com/apply: the form starts as an SME FIBER application.

Step 1 — the one step that is different on this path

Numbered as the wizard's own progress bar numbers it — the same number the video uses. After the building check the form is one and the same, so steps 2 to 7 are written out once, below.

  1. Your landline number, and the building check

Open sme-lb.com/apply. The form starts as an SME FIBER application, and its first question is whether you have a landline number. If you do, choose "Yes, I have a landline" and type the 7- or 8-digit number: where the line can be checked automatically, the wizard shows the verdict on screen and continues the fiber application when fiber is available. If you do not, choose "No, I need a new one" — a new landline is registered in your name as part of the application.

When your line cannot be checked automatically, the wizard first asks whether the line already has an active subscription with another provider ("Do you have an active subscription on this line?"), then whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box (FDB): a grey metal cabinet, usually near the landline box, inside the electricity room or on an outside wall. On a phone choose "Take a clear picture of the Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) using your mobile camera" (on a computer, "Upload a picture of the Fiber Distribution Box (FDB)"): your camera opens with a framing guide. Stand close, hold steady and make the label with the box number readable — our team reads the number from your photo. When the wizard says "Photo received", the application proceeds for SME FIBER.

Then steps 2 to 7 — documents · your information · service type · package · add-ons · review and submit ↓

Tips for the fiber box photo

  • Find the box before you open the form: a grey metal cabinet near the landline box, in the electricity room or on an outside wall — the wizard shows a picture of one
  • Stand close and hold the phone steady; the whole cabinet inside the frame
  • The label with the box number must be readable — that is what our team reads from your photo
  • No glare, no hard shadow, no blur; retake on the spot if the label is not sharp
  • No box in your building? Choose "No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building" and the same form continues as SME DSL

Path B · SME DSL

Apply for SME DSL

The path the wizard offers when fiber is not available at your building: for a home or office without a fiber box, over your landline — residential plans up to 50 Mbps. If you have no landline, a new one is registered in your name. You can also leave your details so the team follows up when fiber reaches the building; the wizard notes that a DSL subscriber can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available. Below: what to have ready, the video, step 1 — the only step that is particular to this path — and the tips that matter on it. Steps 2 to 7 follow once, for everyone.

What you need

  • Your National ID Card (front and back) or your Passport
  • If you have no landline yet: one property document — House Deed, Rent Contract (signed by municipality) or Proof of Residence
  • Switching from another provider on the same line: your current F, L or D subscription number and a Clearance Certificate from that provider (required before submitting)
  • Your mobile number and the installation address (city, street, building, floor, property and section numbers)

Have everything on the table before you open the form. The wizard saves nothing until you submit; on the documents and service-type steps it names the document still outstanding, just above the Next button.

Welcome to SME.

This short guide shows you how to apply for SME DSL online: the service for buildings that do not have a fiber box yet.

The application takes about five minutes on your phone.

Open sme-lb.com/apply. The form is in English and Arabic and works on any phone or computer.

First question: do you have a landline number?

SME DSL runs over your landline. If you have one, type the 7- or 8-digit number. If you do not, choose No, I need a new one and a new landline is registered in your name.

Already subscribed with another provider on this line? The wizard asks for your current F, L or D subscription number.

You will then also upload a clearance certificate from your current provider, and the form goes straight to your documents.

Otherwise, the wizard asks whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box, an FDB: a grey metal cabinet near the landline box, in the electricity room, or on an outside wall.

No box in your building? Choose No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building.

If your line can be checked automatically, the wizard skips this question and tells you directly which service is available.

The wizard confirms that your application proceeds for SME DSL.

As the wizard says, you can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available at your building.

SME DSL runs over your landline, so the first question is whether you have a landline number. If you do, choose "Yes, I have a landline" and type the 7- or 8-digit number. If the line already carries an internet subscription with another provider, the wizard asks for your current F, L or D subscription number and, in the documents step, for a clearance certificate from that provider. If you have no landline, choose "No, I need a new one" — a new landline is registered in your name.

When your line cannot be checked automatically, the wizard asks whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box (FDB). Choose "No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building" and the application proceeds for SME DSL — the wizard notes that you can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available at your building. Where the line can be checked automatically, the verdict is shown directly: fiber available means the fiber application continues; fiber not there yet means you continue with DSL, or leave your details so the team follows up on fiber; and where neither fiber nor DSL is available on that line right now, the wizard offers "Apply with a new landline" (which leads to the fiber-box question) or "Request future fiber availability".

Then steps 2 to 7 — documents · your information · service type · package · add-ons · review and submit ↓

Tips for the landline and for switching provider

  • A landline is 7 or 8 digits — an 8-digit mobile number is not a landline, and the wizard says so
  • Your F, L or D number is on your current provider's bill: the letter, then 3 to 10 digits
  • Get the clearance certificate from your current provider before you start — the wizard requires it before submitting
  • If the wizard finds fiber on your line, it continues the fiber application instead: that is the form working as designed
  • As the wizard states, a DSL subscriber can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available at the building

The form opens as an SME FIBER application — that is how the wizard works — and continues as SME DSL when the building check finds no fiber.

Both paths · and business customers

Steps 2 to 7 — the same whichever service you end up on

Step 1 decides between SME FIBER and SME DSL. From there it is one form: the same six screens, in the same order, with the same rules — whether you are applying for fiber or DSL, as a household or as a business. A business chooses Corporate on step 4 and uploads the company documents on that same screen; everything else below is unchanged.

  1. Upload your documents

Choose your identity document — National ID Card or Passport — and, unless you already have a landline, one property document: House Deed, Rent Contract (signed by municipality) or Proof of Residence. If you already have a landline, the identity document is the landline owner's; otherwise it belongs to the person named on the property document.

On a phone, tap Capture document, fit the whole document inside the frame and tap Use this page (Retake and Rotate are there if the shot is not right). On a computer, choose a file. Both sides of the ID must be photos (JPG or PNG); a passport and the other documents may also be a PDF — up to 20 MB per file. A rent contract or a commercial registration can have several pages: capture each page, then tap Add another page; the order on screen is the order in your PDF.

  2. Your information

Type your first, middle and last name, mobile number, an email address if you want one on file, the installation address (city, street, building, floor, property and section numbers), governorate, district, the city or region printed on your ID (a separate field from the installation city) and your ID or passport number — exactly as they are printed on the documents you uploaded. The team checks every field against your scans, so spelling and numbers must match.

  3. Service type

Choose Residential or Corporate. A corporate applicant also uploads the Commercial Registration, the MOF / VAT Registration and the authorised signatory's ID (front and back) or passport.

  4. Choose your package

Pick your package from the list the wizard shows for your service — tapping it takes you straight to the add-ons.

  5. Add-ons

Optional add-ons: tap to select any the wizard lists for your package (a static public IP, for example), or skip the step if you need none. The monthly total including VAT and the one-time installation fee are shown on this screen, and again on the review screen.

  6. Review and submit

Every section of the review screen has a Change link. Tick "I confirm that all my info is correct", tap "Submit my application" and confirm. The confirmation page shows your Application ID and a download link for your application summary; our team reviews the application and contacts you.

Path C · Business customers

Apply for Corporate SME FIBER or Corporate SME DSL

A business applies in the same form and the same seven steps. The wizard learns that you are a company on step 4, where you choose Corporate and it asks for the company documents on the same screen; step 5 then lists the corporate packages for your line. Everything before that — the landline check at the premises, the fiber box where the line cannot be checked, the applicant's ID, the installation address — is exactly as in the two guides above, and steps 2 to 7 are the ones written out for everyone. Two videos, one per service, walk a business through it.

Welcome to SME.

This guide walks your business through the online application for Corporate SME FIBER: from the line check at your premises to the company documents and the confirmation.

The application takes about five minutes on a phone or a computer.

Open sme-lb.com/apply. The form is the same for businesses and homes, and it opens as an SME FIBER application.

First question: do you have a landline number at the premises?

If you do, choose Yes, I have a landline and type the 7- or 8-digit number; the wizard checks fiber availability at your building from that line.

Where the line can be checked automatically, the verdict appears on screen: Great news! SME FIBER is available at your building.

Tap Continue fiber application, and the wizard moves on to your documents.

Where the line cannot be checked automatically, the wizard first asks whether the line already has an active subscription with another provider, then — or directly, if the premises have no landline yet — whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box, an FDB.

It is a grey metal cabinet, usually near the landline box, inside the electricity room, or on an outside wall; your building manager will know where it is.

Find it before you continue: the wizard needs a photograph of it.

On your phone, choose Take a clear picture of the Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) using your mobile camera; your camera opens with a square frame, and your phone may ask to share your location — allow it, and take the photo at the building, so the box is placed correctly.

Stand close, keep the phone steady, use enough light, and make sure the label with the box number is inside the frame and readable.

Avoid glare, shadows and blur: our team reads the box number from your photo, and a photo that cannot be read cannot be verified.

When the wizard shows Photo received, your application proceeds for SME FIBER; our team verifies the box from your photo.

If there is no box in your building, choose No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building and the same form continues for SME DSL; the Corporate SME DSL guide covers that path.

Step two is your documents.

The wizard asks here for the identity document of the landline owner: a national ID card, front and back, or a passport. If the premises have no landline yet, it is the ID of the person named on the property document, plus that document: a house deed, a rent contract or a proof of residence.

Company documents are not requested on this step; they come on step four, once you have chosen Corporate.

For a national ID, capture the front, then the back.

Tap Capture document, place the whole card inside the frame with all four corners visible, and tap Use this page.

For a passport, capture the page with the photo, fully inside the frame and without reflections.

Step three is your information.

Enter the applicant's first, middle and last name and ID or passport number exactly as printed on the ID, a mobile number, an email address if you want one on file, the installation address — city, street, building, floor, property and section numbers — and the governorate, district and city printed on the ID.

The address must be the premises where the service will be installed; our team checks every field against your documents.

Step four: choose Corporate.

The wizard then asks for the company documents on the same screen: the Commercial Registration, the Commercial Circuit, the MOF / VAT Registration, and the authorized signatory's ID, front and back, or passport.

The Commercial Registration can have several pages: capture each page, then tap Add another page; the pages are combined into one document in the order shown.

Step five: choose your package from the corporate FIBER packages the wizard lists for your line; tapping a package takes you to the add-ons.

Step six is optional add-ons, such as a Static Public IP.

The monthly total with VAT and the one-time installation fee are shown on this screen, and again on the review screen.

Step seven: review your application. Check the company documents, the signatory document, the installation address and the package; every section has a Change link.

Tick I confirm that all my info is correct, tap Submit my application, then confirm.

You will see a confirmation page with your application ID. Our team reviews the application and contacts you.

Ready? Go to sme-lb.com/apply: the form starts as an SME FIBER application, and you choose Corporate on step four.

Welcome to SME.

This guide walks your business through the online application for Corporate SME DSL: the service for premises where fiber is not available yet.

The application takes about five minutes on a phone or a computer.

Open sme-lb.com/apply. The form opens as an SME FIBER application; it continues as SME DSL when the check finds no fiber at your building.

SME DSL runs over the landline at the premises, so the first question is whether you have a landline number.

If you do, choose Yes, I have a landline and type the 7- or 8-digit number; if you do not, choose No, I need a new one and, as the wizard notes, a new landline is registered in your name as part of the application.

Where the line can be checked automatically, the verdict appears on screen: Fiber is not currently available at your building.

Tap Continue with DSL; your details are kept, and the wizard moves on to your documents.

If the line already has an internet subscription with another provider, the wizard asks for your current F, L or D subscription number.

You will then also upload a clearance certificate from your current provider on the documents step; obtain it before you start.

Where the line cannot be checked automatically, the wizard first asks whether the line already has an active subscription with another provider, then — or directly, if the premises have no landline yet — whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box, an FDB: a grey metal cabinet near the landline box, in the electricity room, or on an outside wall.

No box in your building? Choose No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building.

The wizard confirms that your application proceeds for SME DSL, and notes that you can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available at your building.

Step two is your documents.

The wizard asks here for the identity document of the landline owner: a national ID card, front and back, or a passport. If the premises have no landline yet, it is the ID of the person named on the property document, plus that document: a house deed, a rent contract or a proof of residence.

Step five: choose your package from the corporate DSL packages the wizard lists for your line; tapping a package takes you to the add-ons.

Step six is optional add-ons, such as a Static Public IP.

The monthly total with VAT and the one-time installation fee are shown on this screen, and again on the review screen.

Step seven: review your application. Check the company documents, the signatory document, the installation address and the package; every section has a Change link.

What a business needs

  • The applicant's National ID Card (front and back) or Passport — the landline owner's when the premises already have a landline; otherwise the person named on the property document, plus that document
  • Commercial Registration — every page (the wizard combines the pages into one document)
  • MOF / VAT Registration — one document
  • The authorized signatory's ID (front and back as photos) or passport
  • Your mobile number, the landline number at the premises if there is one (otherwise choose "No, I need a new one"), and the installation address of the premises (city, street, building, floor, property and section numbers)

On step 4 the wizard names any company document still missing, just above the Next button: "Still required before continuing: Commercial Registration, MOF / VAT Registration, Signatory ID Front, Signatory ID Back."

Where the corporate path differs

  • Step 4: choose "Corporate" — the company documents block opens on the same screen, with "Authorized signatory document" (National ID Card or Passport) and the upload cards
  • The Commercial Registration may have several pages: capture each page, then "Add another page"; the wizard keeps the order you see
  • Step 5 shows "Showing Corporate FIBER packages" or "Showing Corporate DSL packages" — the corporate packages for your line; a corporate order gets 24/7 support, as the confirmation page states
  • The review screen lists the company documents and the signatory document as uploaded before you confirm

The form opens as an SME FIBER application for everyone and continues as SME DSL when the building check finds no fiber; you choose Corporate on step 4.

Documents

The documents the wizard asks for, and how to photograph each one

If you already have a landline, the identity document is the landline owner's; otherwise it belongs to the person named on the property document. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG and PDF, up to 20 MB per file — except the two sides of an ID, which must be photos.

Renting? The rent contract must be signed by the municipality, and every page must be captured.

The wizard's property document option is "Rent Contract (signed by municipality)". Capture each page in order, so the team can see the municipality's signature. If your contract is not signed by the municipality, the other property documents the wizard accepts are the House Deed or a Proof of Residence.

A photo our team can read

Every field you type is checked against your scans, and the fiber box number is read from your photo. The camera in the wizard shows a frame shaped like the document — fill it, then check the preview before you tap Use this page.

Example of a Fiber Distribution Box (FDB): a grey metal wall cabinet with two doors and a printed label

This is what a Fiber Distribution Box looks like — the same example the wizard shows. Photograph the whole cabinet with its label readable.

Do

  • Lay the document flat on a table, in daylight or under an even light, and hold the phone directly above it
  • ID: the whole card inside the frame, all four corners visible, text sharp — front, then back
  • Passport: the page with your photo fully inside the frame, no reflections, the bottom lines visible
  • Deeds and contracts: the whole page, flat and evenly lit — one capture per page, every page
  • Fiber box: stand close, hold the phone steady, keep the label with the box number in focus
  • Check the preview — the camera offers Retake, Rotate and Use this page after every shot

Avoid

  • Blur from a moving hand, or a photo taken from too far away
  • Glare from a lamp or a window on the ID, the contract or the fiber box label; dark rooms; hard shadows
  • Cut-off corners, tilted pages, fingers over the text
  • Skipping a page of a multi-page contract or registration
  • HEIC files from an iPhone — set the camera to Most Compatible, or pick a JPG from your gallery
  • A PDF for the ID sides — both sides must be photos; the wizard combines them onto one page

Before you tap Submit

Common mistakes — and what the wizard does about them

Each of these is something the wizard refuses on the spot or something our team cannot verify from what was sent. Avoiding them is the difference between a first-time application and a call back.

A name typed differently from the ID
The team checks every field against your scans. Type names, numbers and the address exactly as printed — the wizard reminds you "according to ID" under the name fields.
A PDF for the ID sides
The front and back of an ID are photos, JPG or PNG. The wizard's ID inputs do not accept a PDF; a passport and the other documents may be PDFs.
HEIC photos from an iPhone
The wizard refuses them and shows how to fix it: set the camera to Most Compatible (Settings → Camera → Formats), or pick a JPG or PNG from your gallery.
A mobile number typed as the landline
A landline is 7 or 8 digits. An 8-digit number starting 03, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79 or 81 is a mobile: the wizard says it looks like a mobile number and asks for your fixed landline (01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29). Your mobile goes in its own field in step 3.
A rent contract with pages missing, or without the municipality's signature
The wizard's property document option is "Rent Contract (signed by municipality)". Capture every page in order, with the signature visible — or use the House Deed or a Proof of Residence, the other two property documents the wizard accepts.
A fiber box photo with the label unreadable
Our team reads the box number from your photo. Glare, blur or distance make it unverifiable — stand close, hold steady, retake if needed.
The F, L or D number typed without its letter
The wizard expects the letter followed by 3 to 10 digits, as printed on your current provider's bill.
An ID that belongs to a different person than the property document
Without an existing landline, the identity document must belong to the person named on the property document — the wizard says whose ID it expects on the documents step.

Questions

Before you apply

Which documents do I need to apply?

Your National ID Card (front and back) or your Passport. If you do not already have a landline, also one property document: a House Deed, a Rent Contract signed by the municipality, or a Proof of Residence. Switching from another provider adds a Clearance Certificate from that provider; a corporate application adds the Commercial Registration, the MOF / VAT Registration and the authorised signatory's ID or passport.

I rent my home. Is my rent contract enough?

Yes, if it is signed by the municipality — the wizard's property document option is "Rent Contract (signed by municipality)", and every page of the contract is captured. If your contract is not signed by the municipality, the other property documents the wizard accepts are a House Deed or a Proof of Residence.

I do not have a landline. Can I still apply?

Yes. Choose "No, I need a new one" on the first screen and a new landline is registered in your name as part of the application. The wizard then asks whether your building has a Fiber Distribution Box: a photo of it sends the application down the SME FIBER path, "No Fiber Distribution Box" sends it down the SME DSL path.

What is the Fiber Distribution Box, and what if I cannot find one?

It is a grey metal cabinet, usually near the landline box, inside the building's electricity room or mounted on an outside wall; the wizard shows a picture of one. If there is none in your building, choose "No Fiber Distribution Box (FDB) installed at my building" and apply for SME DSL — the wizard notes that you can upgrade to SME FIBER free of charge once it becomes available at your building.

My line already has internet from another provider. What changes?

The wizard asks for your current subscription number — it starts with F, L or D — and, in the documents step, for a Clearance Certificate from your current provider. You must obtain that certificate before submitting.

Can I apply from a laptop instead of a phone?

Yes. The in-page camera exists on phones and tablets only; on a computer each document has a Choose file button and a drop zone for JPG, PNG or PDF files up to 20 MB each. Both sides of an ID must be photos, not PDFs.

My iPhone photos are HEIC files. Why are they refused?

The wizard accepts JPG, PNG and PDF. Set the iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" (Settings → Camera → Formats) or pick a JPG or PNG from your gallery — this is the message the wizard itself shows.

What happens after I submit?

You see a confirmation page with your Application ID, the service and the package, plus a link to download your application summary that stays valid for 90 days. Our team reviews the application and contacts you.

أزرار التقاط المستندات داخل النموذج بالإنجليزية فقط («Capture document»، «Use this page»، «Add another page»)، وهي مذكورة هنا كما تظهر على الشاشة.

SME FIBER

افتح sme-lb.com/apply.

SME DSL

SME DSL

Ready? Have your ID and property document on the table.

The form opens as an SME FIBER application and continues as SME DSL only where fiber is not there yet. It saves nothing until you submit, and on the documents step it names any document still missing.
