What is the SME FIBER waiting list?
It is a complete SME FIBER application you submit before fiber is live on your line. SME keeps it, rechecks your landline regularly, and the moment fiber is available tells you by SMS and e-mail so you can finish — your place in line is kept.
Do I need a photo of the fiber box to join?
No. The fiber box is only needed when fiber is already installed. To join the waiting list you give your details and the landline SME should watch — no fiber-box photo.
I do not have a landline. Can I still join?
Yes. A nearest landline in the same building (a neighbour's) is required so SME can check and watch the building's line. Enter it in the application and SME uses it only as the building reference.
Does joining cost anything or commit me?
No. Joining the waiting list is free and does not commit you to anything, and SME never promises a date — fiber is rolled out street by street over the national network.
What happens when SME FIBER becomes available?
SME sends you one SMS and one e-mail with a link to continue your application, with the line check already done, and the team schedules your installation.
